SWEATY BEAR WEEKEND (JULY 28th - 30th, 2017)

July is HOT & BEAR ALBANY is making things even hotter with Sweaty Bear Weekend July 28th – 30th! Things heat up with a meet and greet on Friday night, optional things to do Saturday daytime, then the main event, Sweaty Bear Dance Party on Saturday night.  Things start to simmer down with Brunch on Sunday morning, then one last burst of heat with an afternoon Tea Dance, including a FREE Back Deck BBQ featuring $4 Long Island Iced Teas all-day/all-night!  Here are the important details: 

FRIDAY – ROCKS, 77 Central Av – BEARAOKE

Fridays at ROCKS are famous for singing along with Carmie & Jim and this weekend is no exception. Bearaoke is in the Club but if singing isn't your thing then hang out with Lance on the Pub side and TouchTunes DJ!!  Either way, keep an eye out for a special guest who's sure to make you perspire!

SATURDAY DAY – Out & About on your own!

Enjoy the pool and hot tub at the host hotel, the sites of downtown and the many fine eateries Albany has to offer.  Feeling lucky?  You can always take a short trip to the new River's Edge Casino!

Harness Albany's Jay Rood moderates a fun and informative rope bondage workshop Saturday 3pm to 5pm during Sweaty Bear Weekend at Rocks! It'll be an interactive workshop covering safety, knots, intention and technique. Some rope will be provided but you can bring your own. Don't miss it!

Whatever you decide to do during the day, don’t get too burned out, 'cause the Saturday night party is gonna be HOT!

SATURDAY NIGHT – ROCKS, 77 Central Av – Sweaty Bear

Bear Weekend’s main event!  Awesome music from our Guest DJ will get you on the dance floor and turn you into a Sweaty Bear! Take a break and chill out on the Pub side then come back for more.  No dress code so wear whatever makes you sweaty - Leather, rubber, uniform, sports gear, whatever makes you HOT! Feel free to strip on down to your jockstrap too!

SUNDAY – ROCKS, 77 Central Av – BEAR BRUNCH & SUNDAY TEA

Change of plans friends – Brunch is on your own this weekend! Due to unforeseen circumstances, ROCKS is unable to host Brunch this weekend. We recommend Café 217 (close to host hotel) or Iron Gate Café.  

Sunday Tea is still on!  A little bit later, ROCKS’ famous Tea Dance 4p-8p with a Back Deck BBQ and Mason Jar $4 Long Island Iced Teas & $10 buckets of Bud or Bud Light all-day/all-night!!

• $95 per night for studios
• $99 per night for one-bedroom suite
• $189 per night for two-bedroom suites

Be sure to mention you're part of the “BEAR ALBANY group” to get the discounted rate and book early as the discounted room block almost always sell out.
